Regal 4400 and 4401 Series D-Subminiature Filter Connectors - .318"
Footprint and High-Density .350" Footprint
General Description
Regal offers an effective method of EMI/RFI suppressions by utilizing Regalīs Ferrite Plate Filter located within the d-subminiature connector.
A special ferrite formula provides superior EMI attenuation for high frequency noise over 300 MHz. By incorporating the
filter plate design within the metal shielded connector, additional RFI shielding is also achieved.
Features/Benefits
- High performance ferrite material using L-element circuit with superior frequency characteristics.
- Noise attenuation in signal line of data communication terminals and digital devices
- Has minimal effect on transition waveforms
- Saves energy by integrating the filter elements on the data line
- More cost effective than multiple bead core packing
- Effective in helping meet shielding requirements for FCC, VDE and VCCI specifications
Applications
- Personal computers, microcomputer products, peripheral terminals and other electronics equipment.
- Countermeasures normal-mode noise along data lines in communication terminals and digital equipment
