Dr. William Kunz
Executive Vice President and
Member of the Board of Directors
Santa Clara, CA — Regal Electronics Inc. announces the
appointment of Dr. William E. Kunz as executive vice president and a member of the board of directors. Dr. Kunz will be responsible for management of the design, development,
marketing, sales, and production of Regal's entire line of computer, telecom, audio, magnetics, and interconnect products.
The appointment of Dr. Kunz marks the addition of another seasoned veteran to Regal's growing management team. According to Madeleine Lee, Regal's CEO, "Dr. Kunz is highly regarded as
both an innovator and a leader. As a consultant to Regal, he has been directly involved in the design, development, and production of Regal's state of the art 155 Series Category 5E RJ45
connector products for extremely high speed computer networking equipment. Now as a member of the Regal management team, we can count on his extensive management
experience and technical expertise to help lead Regal into the new millennium." Dr. Kunz has held positions of president, COO, CEO, and director of Mountain Network
Solutions, Inc., a developer and producer of computer peripheral and software solutions for small to medium sized PC networks.
He was a former vice president of Watkins Johnson Company's Systems Group where he was responsible for more than 1,300 employees producing over $115 million in annual revenues.
During his twenty-five years at Watkins Johnson he held technical design and management positions related to the development and manufacture of electronic systems and RF and
microwave products for civilian and military applications. Dr. Kunz holds BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of
Illinois. In 1992 he received the Alumni Honor Award for Distinguished Service in Engineering by the College of Engineering, University of Illinois, Urbana.
