Pack a Wallop
Santa Clara, CA — A line of miniature speakers that can pack a wallop has been
introduced by Regal Electronics, Inc. The new RH Series Speakers, the “H” stands for high-power, average about the diameter of a quarter yet can handle up to 1.5 watts of input power. Designed for telecom, computer,
portable and other tight form factor applications, the miniature speakers have a surprisingly broad frequency range, as wide as 230 Hz to 20 kHz on some models.
Sizes range from a diameter of 16 mm at 3.5 mm high to a diameter of 36 mm at 5.2 mm high. Sensitivity is excellent too, ranging from a low of 73 dB to a high of 82 dB
(+/- 3dB). The speakers are constructed with metal frames and Mylar diaphragms.
