Sunnyvale, CA — Regal Electronics has added a shielded/gasketed vertical jack to its high-speed RJ-45 family of connectors. In addition to shielding, the new connector has EMI gaskets on all four sides of the mounting face for superior EMI suppression. The new vertical mount RJ-45 exhibits performance in the Category-5 range. The new jack is particularly suited for telco applications making the switch from passive to active circuitry where FCC certifications are required.
